H&H tattoo artist Cody Maestas may be a perfectionist, but he also knows how to color outside the lines.
He’s been into tattoos since the ripe age of 15 and professionally inking his own masterpieces for six years now. At our shop in Nashville, he’s known for his keen eye for detail and passion for making things beautiful, whether it’s a precise geometric piece or watercolor work – what he calls “being messy on purpose.”
Either way, Cody makes it all look easy. And everyone who has the privilege of sitting in his chair feels at ease with him. “There’s something special about tattooing, bringing someone’s idea to life so they can walk around with a piece of artwork on their body. It’s a proud moment for both of us.”
Outside our four walls, he spends his spare time raising his two kids, helping them see the beauty of the world in their own eyes. “I hope my work inspires them to become their own artists, paint their own canvases. I get to sit back and watch them grow into something I’ve never seen before. To me, that’s an artform of its own.”
